Well structure music programs are designed to give students a great start to playing a musical instrument and the fun of playing in a band. Playing a musical instrument benefits children academically and dramatically improves self development. Parents often ask “ will my child like the experience?”, “is the instrument right for them?” will they continue to play, and if not what are they going to do with the instrument.

Playtoday Music rentals has 2 simple rental options:

Rental–For some people who want simply to rent an instrument until they are sure it’s the right instrument for their child or as a long term hassle free rental, with a low per term fee this is the most affordable option. Benefits– While renting, insurance (excess applies) & all adjustments to the instrument are taken care of free of charge (excludes freight & malicious damage). There is no minimum rental period and a very affordable payment per school term-only four payments a year! You can hand back the instrument whenever you like or, when you are sure you would like to purchase the instrument you can either pay the balance outright or convert to our rent to own plan. * the rent to own plan on band instruments entails paying a monthly rental payment and is paid out in six to twenty four months depending on the instrument so that the monthly payments are affordable. The rent to own plan still enables you to return the instrument at any time if your circumstances change.

Rent to own– there are a few instruments that not really suitable to offer on the per term rental. These are offered on the rent to own plan- you are still able to return the instrument at any time if your circumstances change.

Upgrade instruments- previosly unavailable for rent, we are proud to offer a greater range of instruments on the rent to own program

Violins & Violas – as these instruments are very affordable a rent to own plan is the best option for you. These instruments are completely paid for in as little as 6 months!

Pianos– have you ever dreamed of owning your very own piano? Playtoday offers you the chance to rent a brand new, quality piano for as little as $27.00 a week* The piano will be yours in just 2 years!* excludes freight and bond

*Establishment fees- All rentals on instruments except pianos are charged an establishment fee of $75.00. In the case of a term rental this fee is used to service the instrument when the instrument is returned to PTMR, if the rental is converted to a outright purchase or rent to own the fee is credited to the retail value of the instrument and reduces your purchase price or amount of monthly rent to own payments.

Pianos need to be professionally delivered; there is a standard delivery fee of $210.00 on all piano rentals and a bond of $210.00 both payable at the time of contract. The bond is used to pay for the collection of the piano if the rental is terminated. If the full term of the contract is carried out, the bond pays for the last 6 months rent- shortening the term from 30 months to 24 months.
